We offer a day of hunting activities beginning at day break with a guided Mississippi duck hunt in flooded timber, harvested grain field, or a Delta wetland. Walk with your duck hunting guide across a harvested grain field beneath a grey winter sky (with one of MS Delta dogs water-drenched Labs at your side) on hunting property that is maintained to prime conservation standards. Enjoy a guided Mississippi duck hunting morning in the pit or sled blind with a skilled guide whose Southern manners and the warm friendliness that resides beneath will put you at ease and who is eager to share duck hunting tips, migration information, and the most effective call techniques. You’re a novice – no worries, by the end of your trip our guys will have you feeling like an expert on how to hunt ducks. Our duck hunting spots include some of the most popular and best duck hunting holes available located in waterfowl areas that we believe in. It'll make you glad that you've left the stresses of everyday life behind and feeling privileged to have been a part of the Delta-waterfowl experience.

Following the morning duck hunt, you’ll be treated to lunch at one of Greenwood’s eateries. No Delta duck hunt is complete without a visit to a local dive. The food is outstanding. After a break to rest and refresh, it’s time to gear up again.

The afternoon offerings consist of a variety of hunts and species. You and the guide will strike out to a pond in pursuit of the colorful migratory diving ducks, retreat to a deer stand to zero in on a quality Delta whitetail deer, or enjoy a plantation quail hunt behind the majestic workings of a German shorthaired pointer. All of the MS Delta dogs come from a world champion bloodline and have been trained by the best in the industry. Just like our hunting areas, we believe in our dogs.

It is our goal for you to experience the amazing Mississippi Delta. From the breathtaking Delta sunrises to the earthy smell of the sandy loam and clay gumbo soils, the adventure is exciting and unique. At times, the duck hunting is fast and furious like the water spewing from the water-control reservoirs on its way to the Delta or slow and steady like the Yazoo rolling toward her mouth at the grand ole Mississippi. Your lodging will be the night before the hunt in a restored farmhouse on the banks of the Tallahatchie River or the Holiday Inn on the banks of the Yazoo River. Your day will be filled with hunting.
